October 12, 2008: Track Day

The Midwest Cafe Racing Association will host the final track day of the season at Gateway International Raceway on Sunday the 12th of October.  Satisfy your desire to hurtle yourself into corners at speeds that would make sane people cringe, without the trouble of oncoming traffic, debris in your line or the five-oh waiting at the corner exit to ruin your fun.  Scrub those embarrassing chicken strips (’wanker strips,’ if you hail from the other side of the Pond) off the edges of your tires.  Wake up the next day with a satisfying soreness in muscles you didn’t know you had (’Why are my inner thighs and triceps so sore?!  Oh yeah…’).  And if you need help with track prep, of course you’re on the right web page.

September 27th, 2008:  Hyosung Release Party

Join us for a night of speed and style as we welcome Hyosung to St. Louis. The sporty, stylish and unique bikes from Hyosung will be on display, our friends and gracious hosts at Byrd will be rolling out their winter fashions, Autohaus will have the all new BMW 1-Series on hand, chefs from La Pizza will be tossing fresh pies, highly combustible productions will provide drinks, and DJ Yoshi from Lure will be there spinning records. And, as if that weren’t enough, the official after party will be held at Lure on Washington.

We’ll be there to show off the new Hyosungs and answer your questions about this cool new line. Of course there will be a smattering of our most stylish gear available for perusal, pawing and purchase.

The party at Byrd kicks off at 8pm. VIP parking for cycles and scoots will be available right out front, on display, at 8117 Marylandin Clayton, and we heartily encourage everyone to ride there! Let’s show ‘em how we roll.

March 15, 2008: LouVinMoto Mungenast Museum Meet

Check out the Mungenast Classic Motorcycle Museum at 12 noon, then set off on a group ride around 2 o’clock with the rest of the LouVinMoto crowd. It’s not a club, it’s a gang, but not that kind of gang. Don’t worry about being up to date on your dues, since there aren’t any - just show up, talk bikes and ride.
